The MV Bacchus is set up for guests to bring their own food and drinks.
We have a full kitchen with plates, cutlery and platters available for your use.
We offer chips, dips and crackers and gourmet pizzas onboard in case the food runs out.
Catering for large parties, the MV Bacchus has two BBQ’s so you can bring your own steaks and snags and fire them up!
For a small extra charge, we can provide a BBQ Chef to save the host slaving over a hot stove.
Fresh from the local waters and straight off the trawler to your plate! For $40 a kilo, we buy in 3-kilo lots. Don’t forget the seafood sauce and the tartare! Eat them fresh or make a prawn salad. You can always throw a few on the barbie as well….
You are welcome to BYO! Red wine or full bottles of spirits with seperate mixers are not permitted but any beeers, wines or pre-mixes in cans or bottles like Canadian Club or Vodka Cruiser are fine. We provide the ice and have several fridges, a large freezer and ice bauckets as required.
NEW! For a small $50 charge we can collect your pre-paid drinks order from Dan Murphy’s Southport and have it chilled for you on the Bacchus. This money is paid directly to our dekhand who spends well over an hour on the collection, transportation and loading of the drinks.
The MV Bacchus has a large kitchen for catering with a full-size oven, large refrigerator, microwave and all the serving bowls, plates and cutlery required for a casual lunch or buffet spread.
If you don not want to be slaving over a hot oven – you may hire a service deckhand to heat, cook your BBQ and lay out your cheese plates and buffet lunch. This costs $50 per hour for the duration of the cruise.
